In a collection which is essentially our first real attempt at womenswear, it was beyond important to do a piece of 'occasion wear'. Due to the nature of the rest of our work, apart from it being pretty it mattered to us that it was user friendly. We started from a simple idea of a gown that could be worn on a red carpet or wedding, that could then be adjusted and allow you to sit down and eat your meal in comfort.
We achieved this by breaking down the components of the silhouette we had in mind and separating them into stand alone items that can be worn in any combination or even omitted and worn individually.

Clothing is the 2nd most Co2 emission producing industry in the world behind the fossil fuel industry. We aren't exactly saints considering we use synthetic fabrics here and there. This initiative allows us to clear some guilt, and you to also feel better about your purchase.
